Our Euthanasia Process

Most importantly, we are so sorry the time has come for you to make this decision to help your pet. As pet owners, it's one of the hardest decisions we have to make. We promise we will do our best to provide your pet with a compassionate, dignified, & peaceful passing surrounded by their loving family.

We start the euthanasia process by giving a sedative. This sedative is an injection that's given like a shot which will take away any stress or pain your pet may have. Once the sedative is given, we have to give it some time to work to ensure they are in a deep, comfortable dreaming sleep before we continue.

What does this deep sleep mean? It means they are sleeping so deeply that they cannot be woken, and they are without any stress, fear, or pain.

Once they are deeply sleeping, we can continue with the final injection which will help them pass away. The final injection will happen quickly. Because of the sedative, they will pass away while they are deeply sleeping and dreaming.
